It can be hard to find stories about adult sisters, as novelist Amy Stewart points out. Amy Stewart talks about filling the holes in fact with fiction and reflecting modern feminist issues through these 1920s crime fighting sisters. And she's striving to move up in the ranks of law enforcement. Lady Cop Makes Trouble picks up the story of the three Kopp sisters after their debut in Girl Waits With Gun. What a romp it is to read the 1916 adventures of Constance Kopp, an actual woman from Northern New Jersey, most notably Bergen County, an unofficial borough of New York City.
